TheisCraft Lighting Controls provided and commissioned the lighting control system for the IET, Savoy Place during the two year £30 million refurbishment project.
TheisCraft Lighting Controls have provided a bespoke solution incorporating lighting and blind control with touch screen technology. The system is managed by a Head End PC.
The refurbishment of this historic building provides state of the art facilities for the IET’s 160,000 members and includes the Faraday Centre with a large member lounge, the Knowledge Centre, the ‘Foundation Wall’ which will feature 100 objects that changed the world, meeting and brainstorming rooms and the Kelvin Café. Also benefiting are the Lecture Theatres which are interlinked, the Heritage Library and the brand new Roof Terrace.
